TODAY, THE 3RD OF MARCH, WE HAVE A LUNAR ECLIPSE IN THE SIGN OF VIRGO

Virgo is an earth sign that is concerned with accuracy and detail. The sign is also ruled by Mercury and how convenient that Mercury went retrograde on the 26th of February and will be retrograde until the 21st of March.

The thing to keep in mind is that Uranus wants spontinaity from us. A square between planets often presents as a bit of a challenge or a roadblock on our paths just when we think things are starting to work out in any one direction, but if we keep in mind that Uranus is calling on us to find novel solutions to challenges, we can see our ways through this.

SINCE WE LAST SPOKE WE HAVE ONCE AGAIN, BEEN SUBJECTED TO AN ABSURD AMOUNT OF HORRIFYING NEWS and as always, this is not the place to come if you want any of the current state of the world to be sugar coated in any way. 

Today we have a new moon in Sagittarius and over the previous weekend we had some transits that proved to be quite difficult going into this week. Pluto was sextiling Mercury, Mars squared Neptune and the sun trined Chiron. These transits taken together signify a favorability towards understanding difficult information that could be transformational in nature, as well as a propensity for male viewpoints to get less traction in the delusional landscape of our media. It also sheds some much needed light on the early wounds we have individually or as a society.

Today we have a full moon in Gemini but more importantly, on this day in 1969 Fred Hampton was killed by this country just 3 years after the inception of his Black Panther Party.

Let’s be real, he’s young, charismatic, smart, has bars, but most imporantly knows how to play the game, aka gamble with American politics. He knows how to win an election and I am exceedingly happy that he did.

How do we feel about the deep rooted systems of oppression?

A trine is a 120 degree angle between planets that are in the same element such as fire, water, earth, or air. The energy is a favorable one but can often pass by without us noticing because it doesn’t push us to act like a square or opposition would. It can often just pass us by with a warm feeling or leave us with a day that feels like it just flows but doesn’t really progress our life path.

During Mercury’s pre-retrograde shadow it starts slowing down and preparing to reverse its orbit aka “Mercury retrograde”. Then, during it’s post-retrograde shadow it starts to speed up again in preparation for it going direct and no longer reverse.

On Saturday the 12th we have our Libra full Moon which will be opposing the Sun and Chiron which are both in the sign of Aries. Not gunna lie, I’m not super excited about this.

Yay we made it and have successfully passed through the exit of eclipse season! This week we are still contending with a shift of Neptune into a new sign though. As it shifts from Pisces into Aries which we talked about last week. The reason why we are still contending with is because it is an outer planet and they change signs very infrequently.
