An uneasy truce, new detention facilities being blocked, and working class unrest for this Aries new moon What else would we expect from a simultaneous generational planetary shift?

The same day that we learned Pete Hegseth would be re-instituting the automatic draft and extending the age one is allowed to enter into military service; the same day the Pentagon threatened the Pope to get on the side of the United States War Machine because “we can do whatever we want in the world”; Mars, the planet of violence, aggression, weaponry, and impulsive acts moved into the sign of Aries which also shares these qualities as the ruling sign to the planet Mars.

The thing to remember is that Mars is the start of the Zodiac and that means it is a young, impulsive, and immature energy that burns out fast. So just be patient and wait til the teenage demented toddler that is the Trump administration tires itself out.

Now before I go on, I need to remind everyone that every planet and every sign has favorable and shadowy energy. When the planet feels unbalanced is when we tend to see the shadowier sides. I think its safe to say that the energies afoot are quite unbalanced as of late.

To be honest, I was very happy to see that the expression of Mars sextiling Uranus on the 8th of April lead Trump to be unaware that he basically agreed to reparations for Iran in the form of a 10 point plan which went as follows.

  1. Guarantee that Iran will not be attacked again

  2. Permanent end to the war, not just a ceasefire

  3. End to Israeli strikes in Lebanon

  4. Lifting of all US sanctions on Iran

  5. End to all regional fighting against Iranian allies

  6. Iran would reopen the Straight of Hormuz

  7. Iran would impose a $2m fee per ship transiting Hormuz

  8. Iran would split these fees with Oman

  9. Iran would establish rules for safe passage through Hormuz

  10. Iran would use Hormuz fees for reconstruction instead of reparations.

This is not to say that I support the current Iranian ruling class that was also shooting women in the streets and torturning them in detention centers, just like ours mind you. What I am happy about however, is that there is a slowing of homocidal activities of our government abroad as it is realizing that it can’t survive by just killing people willy nilly. That the world might get a clue and stop supporting us.

The whole original 10 point plan was, in fact, reparations, mostly because the the Iranians know that every time the US claims to have broakered a ceasefire, it is just a ploy to regroup. The supposed ceasefire is immidiately broken by Israel using our weapons or us using our own weapons to kill more civilians and blame it on an AI miscalculation even though the said targets, such as the girls school in Lebanon, were easily identifiable with Google Maps and they hit it twice! So far all I can see AI being good for is plausible deniability.

The Iranian negotiators are one billion times smarter than Jared Kushner, so they knew all they had to do was say “don’t worry it’s not reparations, it’s reconstruction” for Trump to buy it hook line and sinker. Netanyahu didn’t however.

Later that day, Israel targeted more civilians, including medical professionals in Lebanon, immediately violating the third point of the plan. Trump responded by gaslighting us per usual, and saying Lebanon was not part of the original plan. His agentic AI satanic secretary machine gun motor boat mouth, Caroline Levit then emerged from the depths to tell us that they were actually negotiating on a 15 point plan that no one knows about. I’m fairly certain that most of us aren’t buying it at this point. But little old Chucky JD Vance was sent to Iran for a second round of negotiations which, surprise surprise, did not go well.

Yesterday, just as Mars sextile Pluto Trump aggreed to take Lebanon out of the equation and stop bombing them. Let’s see if this sticks. Now a sextile is a favorable transit, but Pluto and Mars together is explosive energy and potentially transformational. It remains to be seen which entities are favored with this sextile. Since Mercury is also conjunct Neptune, the field was ripe for false communication since Neptune governs illusion and delusion. Fingers crossed on this one. Maybe this all happening right before the fertile ground of a new moon today in Aries, will lead us to brighter pastures. Here’s hoping.

Now here I want to pause and say that, as I have been going through my days, I have been hearing people from all political persuasions Left, right, and Center say things like “I really hope Iran doesn’t bomb us” and I’m like “Bruh how many times do I have to tell you, Iran does not have a nuclear weapon, and if they did, they would have:

a. used it already or

b. not be stupid enough to use it.

The only rogue nuclear actor in West Asia who is going around having a temper tantrum by slaughtering children, grandmas, women, healthcare professionals, and journalists is Israel. This is the Imaginary State we need to be concerned with. The reason being, that I would not put it past Netanyahu to threaten U.S. (us) with a nuke if we stopped funding his genocidal pedophilic regime. Come on people, we are smarter than that aren’t we?!

Iran’s current regime, which is a hard line authoritarian one, is quite oppressive to it’s own people, per the report of my Iranian friends. However, it came into power by crippling US sanctions. Not to mention that the previous regime, who’s leader we just assasinated, believed that nuclear weapons were contrary to Muslim beliefs. The current leader, his son, who’s wife, step mother, and father we just killed, obviously, does not share these views and is open to enriching to nuclear weapons grade.

To add insult to injury, now we have effectively given the Iranian government leverage over China, that uses a huge amount of oil from the region and produces much of the tecnhology we need to run our economy and military. Of course, Iran let China through the straight. We have also gauranteed almost 90billion dollars of profit for the Iranian government annually that will come from the fees it will charge ships passing through the straigth of Hormuz. To be fair, this is what they will need to be able to come close to rebuilding after what we have done to them, and since the Western world will not help them rebuild after all the injustice, what do we expect?

So are we surprised that after president trump “truthed” out that he was going to destroy Iranian civilization starting with its infrastructure like power plants. We saw Iranians link arms around a power plant? Regarless of how they feel about their current government, this plant is all that’s standing between them and this despotic US regime. It is an existential crisis for them.

At this rate we may even push Taiwan and China towards a negotiated settlement as a way to fortify themselves against the insanity of this current US regime. Who’s regime changing us? Anyone? Anyone? Do we feel safe yet? Is Amerikkka winning yet? Are we having “so much winning” as Trump said we would?

In non foreign policy related class struggle news…

warehouse worker set fire to paper plant where he worked saying

All you had to do was pay us enough to live. This shit is dirt cheap (points to paper products) but ya’ll won’t pay us enough to live.

SEIU 1021 rank and file members have also manage to stave off the firing of 300 plus workers at our community hospital that serves all serious accidents and also our most vulnerable here in Northern California. I basically spend part of my free time yelling at the Alameda County Board of Supervisors or the Alameda Health Systems Board of Trustees these days.

The new plan is to try and come up with funding sources which include a sales tax which is a gauranteed tax on the poor, instead of a progressive taxation of all the billionaires in this state or rescinding the bonuses the Board of Trustees got for doing a sh*tty job this year. Some of these bonuses amounted to $200,000.00 on top of the $800,000.00 the trustee already gets per year from their salary.

At one point during the hearing the CEO James Jackson looked over at those of us holding posters with his face and the amount of his bonus that year on a poster and blew us a kiss. I wish I had that on camera.

For those interested in helping out with our efforts to keep the only level one trauma center hospital in the East Bay functioning, please DM/email me. We have some actions coming up that we would love your help with

Did you know, in the Bay Area CA, they are trying to open an ICE detention facility near you?

That was another reason we have been frequenting the BOS meetings. This last week on April 7th we, the citizens of Alameda County in California, encouraged the Alameda County Board of Supervisors to go on record opposing the re-opening of a women’s prison that was closed for rampant sexual abuse and use it for a new ICE concentration camp.

We need to remember that if we normalize detaining people for a misdemeanor it is a slippery slope before we are all detained because most of us have committed a misdemeanor at some point in our lives.

The goal is to make conditions so bad in these facilities that people self deport. The increasing problem is that we now have contracts with many African nations to take these detainees many of whom have no connections to Africa.

In the last two weeks we have had 3 cases of new mothers where I work who either came from detention, or were scheduled to be deported after delivery of their babies. One of these people was granted asylum in 2013 and now the officers were asking for evidence of imminent threat to hear and her family in the form of scars from bullet wounds. This is the nation we are living in. I am not comfortable with this and I hope you aren’t either.

There are some hopeful stories in the midst of all this though. Stories like the Choctaw Nation in Oklahoma purchasing a warehouse in order to keep it from being turned into an ICE facility. These are the creative community solutions we need to get on board with. If anyone knows anyone in the Bay Area connected to the Ohlone Land Trust who might want to help in this kind of way please DM/email me.

The last hold out on the vote to oppose the detention facility was supervisor Nate Miley who said he “needed more information” because he was “not opposed to detention in general”. In addition, before numerous descendants of interned Japanese people got up to share their stories he reminded everyone that he did not judge people for putting the Japanese in internment camps post Pearl Harbor, nor did he, as a black man, judge people who had slaves. A community member got up and asked him who he was working for because there was clearly a conflict of interest.

It reminded me of when representative Jasmine Crockett said that black people were not going to go back to picking cotton in response to a reporter asking her about the detention of Latin American immigrants, implying they were the new slaves. Or even The Congressional Black Caucus agreeing to re-authorize FISA 702 which gives warrants to surveil data from folks communicating with folks abroad if they are deemed a threat. FISA has been used to surveil Black Lives Matter activists. Luckily, the caucus reconsidered their support after some good reporting. It is the same tone deaf black capitalist perspective that folks like Huey Newton and Bobby Seale of the the Black Panther Party warned us about. One has not “arrived” if to do so they have to subjugate another human being of any background or color.

These old imperialist Saturnian structures need to be replaced by structures that help the plight of all humans and living beings on this planet. We need to stop treating everything like it is a zero sum game.

As I was walking through my neighborhood I came across this picture of Snéad O’Connor

What is a Revolution Anyway?

We are in a time of revolutionary change wether we want it or not. You can tell by how everyone is saying some version of this no matter what socio-political persuasion they are a part of. No matter wether they are left, right, center, democrat, republican, conservative, or liberal everyone is expressing some form of discontent.

If we weren’t all coopted by the forces trying to keep us enslaved, we would easily be able to take a breath, look around, recognize the discontent of every human, and realize that this means the problem isn’t whatever “other” the ruling class is telling us we should fear, or is the reason for all the problems we are facing. How could this be true if this same “other” is also profoundly discontent.

If we pause and look at the structures supporting the system we are supposed to hold so dear, capitalism, we would quite easily see that the problem is a system which prioritizes the needs of the few over those of the many. A system that says “The Market” will sort itself out. A system that scribes a goD-like quality to said Market and tells us to “Just trust it bro” when we are once again seeing how poorly it is suited to support the longterm thriving of humanity.

One need look no further than the choking off of the Straight of Hormuz to see this in action. As my friend and comrade said

One straight appears to be causing the collapse/insolvency/chaos of multiple world economies.

The sad part is that this is still a success for the ruling class because…capitalism. The market, that the ruling class controls, can still benefit and often does benefit, off of death and destruction. Constant war technology research and development, tax evasion, and pubic private partnerships continue to line the pockets of the few at the expense of the many.

If you question why the US is always at war and why we haven’t actually won any war since the 1940’s, it’s because our number one export is weapons. How conveineint that we have now created another death cult democracy in West Asia who’s number one export is military and surveilance tech that they test on the Palestinians before exporting it to surveil: hoods, barrios, favelas, etc. abroad. They want to Gaza-fy the entire globe and hide away in their ivory towers while the rest of us kill each-other for scraps and they ride the Earth until it’s wheels fall off.

So back to where we were. What is revolution? People often think of Revolution as bloody and resulting in regime change. The reovlution I ascribe to is one in which we realize that the systems we have been using no longer serve us, even if they once might have. A revolution that is ongoing in the sense that it prepares us for constant change. Dreams and goals for a system that serves more of us should not be ends but a part of an on going revelatory process.

We can even look to biology for answers to revolutionary goals of transformation. Every 5 years we are cellularly completely different beings. How are we supposed to follow systems that govern all of us for more than five years at a time if we are constantly evolving? We need systems with flexibility built into them.

Our greatest goals as humans should be to become accustomed to change and transitions. How did you or do you handle birth? Puberty? Menopause? Decreased virility? Death? Life processes and nature gives us clues as to the best way to serve us all. Can we design a revolutionary process that is constant? A change that is just a low hum in the background? So that we don’t have to have a huge bloody revolution every few decades somewhere that ruptures like a festering boil that needed to be lanced years ago?

All the outer planets have been changing signs over the last couple years and are now firmly where they will be for decades going forward. Some of these changes have never happened in human existence, we are ripe for revolution. So sink in and let Pluto’s transformational undertow drag you through the mud a little, just remember that the work is to learn and codify what we have learned for us and future generations.

One of the best encapsulations of a generation in crisis that has been rising slowly from the ashes and showing the world what is needed has come to me in the form of this article DNA of an Ungovernable Brat by a recent new friend Serene Sovereign.

For those here for the music

I just launched my first music video for the song Soft Shackles off of my album Sabina Olamina 1. The video is a social commentary on the time we are living in. When anyone can be lifted off the streets by fugitive slave catchers and made to work in a detention camp, healthcare debt can lead to indentured servitude or bankruptcy, and people feel forced to look to assassins for our liberation in one of the most violent countries on Earth. The creative director and dear friend was Anne Maroon.

You can also secure a physical album of Sabina Olamina 1. If you buy the album or any song on my Bandcamp for a price of $30. I may even make a trip out of it to come hand deliver it to you and play a couple live songs if I’m feeling stir crazy :)
