New Moon in Libra Along With the Retrogrades in Scorpio Spells Increased Immigration Raids, Technological Suppression, and Impotent Politicians
But We Got US!
What an opportunity we have finally to plant some seeds! New moons are usually good times to put some intention behind a thing. This new moon is particularly relational, being in the Venus ruled sign of Libra and is also asking us to review what has worked and what has not before we plant anything new. Although we have some opportunity interpersonally this new moon, the lead up which includes Mercury in it’s retrograde shadow and Venus retrograde both in Scorpio, is proving to present some challenges on the national and world stage.
The same week that we have this new moon in Libra, and the day we have a retrograde Venus in Scorpio link up with Mercury in it’s retrograde shadow in the same sign, we get this ridiculous statement from Trump that he is going to end the war with Iran by allowing them to bomb San Diego and LA, and that this would be a “small price to pay”. Did he forget that the California economy contributes the most to the GDP of the entire country? Also if you thought that these elites care about the people of any nation, even their own, this should give you all the information you need to understand this is most certainly not the case.
Trump is communicating in a way that is even more arrogant and dangerous. In a way that lets us know he has truly crossed over into the land of delusions of granduer and believes himself and his administration to have amassed so much power that they can do whatever they want to the rest of us with no impunity. They are continuing to test us. How far will we let them go?
Trump and his cronies have no problem killing civilians and the working class, just like the leaders of Iran have no problem putting their own people at risk. The real divide in the world is the elite, ruling, pedophile, sadistic, Epstein Class versus the working class. This is why I do not give even the smallest shit about national identity. I care about people, the planet, and living beings period.
The artificial lines drawn by ruling elites, that have historically split up families so that they/we are more easily controlled, have nothing to do with any cultural identifiers for me or anyone else. We need to understand this at a deep level. If we fail to do so, it may be the end of us.
The same day that that Mercury entered its retrograde shadow on the 4th of October, which is the few weeks before the planet stations retrograde, Brazil had it’s elections. The multinational tech billionaires like Peter Thiel, who have been moving to increasingly authoritarian countries in the region like Argentina, have been helping to suppress votes, as well as fund evangelical endevors through bot farms, and even shutting down social media accounts of progressive candidates like Lula. Facebook shut down Lula’s social media accounts weeks ahead of the election. Even in the wake of all this, the votes were still too close between him and Bolsonaro which means it will go to a runoff election. Again, this fight is not between Left and Right in any given country, it is between the elites who use Capitalism to propagandize us all into thinking that one day we can also become as wealthy and indiferent as they are.
Mercury and Venus both being in Scorpio is showing up this time as an elite power grab by any means necessary up to and including further subjugation of disenfranchised folks. That is because Venus has recently stationed retrograde and right before the new moon and Mercury will enter its retrograde shadow in Scorpio, the same sign that Venus is also in. On the same day, flamboyantly aggressive Mars in Leo will also be squaring Venus.
Another thing that happened as we have Mercury entering it’s retrograde shadow, soon to link up with retrograde Venus the following day, Trump announced his new 45-day California immigration enforcement surge that they are calling “Operation Safe California”. Please realize 2 things. 1. The timing of this in relation to elections and 2. That there are multiple law enforcement agencies that are complicit in the Federal crackdown on immigration. For example, a month ago or so we saw the SF local police department provide a perimeter for ICE to “safely” kidnap a woman at the SF international airport as horrified people helplessly looked on. I thought these law enforcement officials were here to protect and serve us? So look out for more of these kind of local police actions.
The other thing is that we have nothing but rhetoric coming from Governor Newsom and other politicians, and very little actual action to protect us. Behind closed doors Newsom continuse to shill for the Epstein Class. He rejected a bill to ban former ICE officers from California jobs, pushed the attorney general Rob Bonta to accept a media merger that will consolidate the Federal forces of propaganda and limit accurate news reporting, peanalize news outlets that continue to speak truth to power and force even more people out of journalistic and creative work; and Newsom even rejected a proposal to extend more legal services to immigrants in need.
Mercury and Venus in Scorpio is shedding light on the nefarious forces in our media structures as well as calling our attention to the lack of representation historically marginalized people have in our current political climate and how this is communicated to the rest of us. The veil has been lifted on “American exceptionalism”.
Ok now on to how this new moon and the planetary configurations of the personal planets (those closest to us like Venus and Mars) may be affecting us. You may have to change course as a person or situation from the past resurfaces that requires you to address the issue immediately. Also, make sure that if something makes you feel like you want to pop off, try to remember to pause and objectively analyze whatever response you were about to have. If you are unsuccessful with this, and wind up acting erratic, try not to use the incident to further punish yourself. Just keep it moving.
Saturn is also retrograde and opposed the Sun on Monday the 4th. So try to use the opportunity, to examine parts of your identity that may be challenging to accept and use whatever information comes up to help you develop better boundaries with yourself and others.
As the Sun sextiles Jupiter, also in Leo on Wednesday the 15th, try to see if you can feel a subtle shift in how you project yourself and your ideas onto others in the world. As many of the planets are retrograde or about to be, we have a nifty opportunity to review our past as we prepare to plant seeds for something new. Lets practice before the 25th, so we can enjoy releasing whatever comes up and enjoy the exalted Taurus full moon on that day. Stay tuned on how to best work with that full moon towards the end of the month. And remember…
